The lower refrigerator compartment is designed to operate between 2 and 8 deg C. The digital thermostat is located inside. We include an alarm/thermometer that users can easily install to monitor the refrigerator temperature. The thermometer displays the current and high/low temperatures to the nearest tenth of a degree in a readout switchable from Celsius to Fahrenheit. The temperature probe is encased in a glycol-filled bottle to help simulate the temperature of stored materials, rather than the refrigerator air temperature. An audible alarm warns if the unit has gone out of the recommended range. </p><p>Inside the refrigerator section, the AGP34RF features fan-forced cooling to for even temperature distribution, with adjustable wire shelves to help promote proper circulation. Door racks are included to hold non-temperature sensitive items. The refrigerator utilizes automatic defrost to reduce user maintenance, while the upper freezer compartment comes with a static manual defrost system. The freezer also includes door storage. It is best suited for storing ice packs and other items without strict temperature requirements. (NOTE: the freezer temperature is based off the refrigerator setting and cannot be adjusted independently).
