The book is unique and includes a 20-year collection of photos and information about the IAI Nesher, which was officially revealed only a decade after the first planes were delivered to the Air Force in October 1971. The Nesher was the first link to the design and production of the Kfir planes of its various models. Despite the short operational service of the Nesher aircraft in the Israeli Air Force, about 120 enemy aircraft were shot down, most of them in the Yom Kippur War, and proved their quality in battle. With the entry of the IAI Kfir aircraft into service, the Neshers were relegated to the second line. In 1978, they started being transferred to Argentina as part of sales deals that included the Mirage IIIC Shachak aircraft. The Eagle planes received the name Dagger in the Argentine Air Force and served in the Falklands War. Later, the planes were upgraded and renamed Finger. The book includes about 300 photos and profiles of the Neshers and chronologically describes their service in the Israeli Air Force in the 1970s and 1980s.
