Caplugs UTM-SH Series Ultrabake silicone thread masks are designed to mask off threaded holes. They are recommended for powder coating, e-coating, plating, and anodizing. Specialized for masking threaded holes, these reusable thread masks are available in standard shallow design for blind holes and a long series (LS) for longer sealing areas. The different options enhance their applicability across various types of holes and sealing requirements. Caplugs Ultrabake silicone thread masks are fabricated from a specialized silicone composition allowing it to withstand extreme temperatures. These plugs can withstand high temperatures, protecting up to 600°F (315°C) for intermittent use or 450°F for continuous use.
